Every style card shows one line for the name and one for the description, so all cards are identical in size at any text size. A slightly long name shrinks a little instead of wrapping.
Shorter card names: Old Armenian Movie is now Armenian Film and Wildlife Narrator is now Wildlife. The narration styles themselves are unchanged.
Verified in the iOS simulator at the default and largest standard text sizes, with 17 automated tests. Not yet run against the live OpenRouter or Kie services or on a physical iPhone.
Every style card now has a short, one-line description (for example, Old Armenian Movie: Old-film nostalgia; Sportscast: Live play-by-play).
If you use a larger text size on your iPhone, cards grow to fit instead of cutting text off, and each row matches its tallest card.

Build 7 · 1.0
Choose from Gallery now lets you pick several videos. They're numbered in the order you tap them, which is the order they play in.
With more than one video, a review sheet shows each clip with its length and the total against 15:00. Tap a clip to leave it out; if you're over, the total turns red and says how much to remove. Use joins them into one video, narrated as one story.
Matching clips, like normal iPhone videos, are joined without re-encoding. Clips of different sizes or orientations are fitted onto one frame, which can take a minute for long videos.
The file name no longer appears on the video.

Build 6 · 1.0
The start screen button now reads Choose from Gallery.
Roast mode has its own section title, like Narrator voice and Narration language, so it no longer looks like one of the styles. Its description notes that it works with any style.

Build 5 · 1.0
A finished narration now opens straight on its narration page, both when it finishes and when you pick it in History. The Your narration is ready banner is gone.
The narration page has the ☰ History button on the left (instead of Back) and New narration on the right.
Try again → Change style or voice opens the main page with the same video already loaded, so you don't pick it from Photos again.
In the History panel, Delete all now sits on the right of the bottom bar, opposite Settings.
Tapping anywhere that isn't a text field closes the keyboard, everywhere in the app. The Narrate Video button hides while you type so it never covers the field.

Build 4 · 1.0
New ☰ History panel on the top left slides the screen aside: open any past narration, swipe a row to delete it, or Delete all at the bottom. Settings now lives at the bottom of this panel.
New narration button on the top right returns to the empty Choose from Photos screen; the current narration stays in History.
Every narration is its own History entry. Narrating the same video again, or Try again, adds a new entry instead of replacing the old one. Videos you picked but never narrated are not kept.
Videos come from Photos only; the Files option and the Replace Video menu are gone.
A paused or stopped narration can be left for later from its progress screen and resumed from History.
Your narration from builds 1–3 is moved into History automatically on first launch.
Verified in the iOS simulator with 14 automated tests, including history and migration. Not yet run against the live OpenRouter or Kie services or on a physical iPhone.
Build 3 · 1.0
Removed the extra Save button from the top-right corner of the result screen; Save to Photos is the single way to save.
Save to Photos and Share are now the same height and sit on the same line. Frosted buttons elsewhere in the app match the gold button's height too.

Build 2 · 1.0
When Narrate my text is on, the style cards are dimmed with a note explaining that your text replaces the style; tone comes from your direction or Roast mode, as in Seedgrade.
Scrolling Settings, Customize or Edit script now dismisses the keyboard, so number fields like part length can be closed.
The Narrate Video button is solid grey while it can't be used instead of see-through.
A problem that stops a narration from starting now shows an alert instead of failing silently.
Includes everything from build 1. Verified in the iOS simulator; not yet run against the live OpenRouter or Kie services or on a physical iPhone.
Build 1 · 1.0
Pick a video from Photos or Files (5 seconds to 15 minutes), choose one of 15 narration styles and any of 31 voices, type a language, and tap Narrate Video.
Poetly writes a script with Gemini, voices it with Gemini TTS and composes instrumental music with Kie, the same pipeline as Seedgrade's AI Audio. Longer videos are narrated in parts as one continuous story.
Narration that runs long has its pauses tightened, is sped up (up to 1.3× by default), and the footage is extended with a dissolve as a last resort. The video's own sound and the music duck under the voice, and the voice gets a low cut.
Preview the result, save it to Photos or share it. Edit script re-voices or re-scores without paying again for unchanged parts. Try again makes a new narration.
Settings holds your OpenRouter and Kie keys (stored in the Keychain) and every advanced control: part length, cushion, maximum speed, mix levels, low cut, ducking timing and export format.
Verified in the iOS simulator with local test responses and nine automated pipeline tests. Not yet run against the live OpenRouter or Kie services or on a physical iPhone.
